NHS Lothian Children’s Services is on a journey to achieve foundation status in LGBT Youth Scotland’s Charter award scheme. This scheme recognises organisations that have taken significant steps to be as inclusive as they can be, through training for staff, engagement with people who use their services and resources to support signposting and awareness.
Throughout Children’s Services and at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People we aim to be an inclusive and welcoming environment for all LGBT+ young people, family members, visitors and staff.
Can you take part in our survey?
We’d like to understand more about the experience of patients, families and visitors to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (RHCYP) in Edinburgh while using our services and meeting our colleagues.
We have designed a short survey (6-7 minutes) in which you can share your thoughts, feedback and offer any suggestions for improvement. The survey is anonymous and does not ask for, or collect, any personal data.
We will use the information you give us to plan further improvements as we work towards achieving our LGBT Youth Scotland Charter awards.
