NHS Lothian Children’s Services Deaf Children and Families Group

The Children’s Services Deaf Children and Families Group wants to strengthen relationships and communication between NHS Lothian staff and Deaf children and families.

The group learns about the specific needs of Deaf children and families and draws on their experiences. NHS Lothian Children’s Services staff use this information to improve access to our services.

Thank you to the ALLIANCE, the British Deaf Association, Lothian Children’s Deaf Club and the National Deaf Children’s Society for their support.

The Group has agreed how we will work together. You can find out about this by watching the video or reading the English language version.

This work is part of the commitments NHS Lothian gave in its BSL Plan 2024 – 2030. You can find out more about the BSL Plan by clicking here.
