Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity is developing a Youth Forum for young people aged between 10-21 who are passionate about their health rights and who want their voices to be heard.
What’s involved?
The Steering Group will be made up of young people, NHS staff and youth workers. The group will be responsible for considering who will be involved in the Youth Forum, how they will be recruited, selected or elected. The overall structure of the forum will come from the young people themselves and will be facilitated by ECHC’s Youth Work team. We hope that from this Youth Forum, young people will have the opportunity to have their voices heard around healthcare issues that impact them the most.
How will the Forum meet?
We aim to meet through Zoom every second month. We will also stay connected through social media to keep things moving along.
Spread the word!
If you know a young person who would be great for this group, then please encourage them to get in touch.
